RARE LOTUS FLOWERS FOUND IN GALGAMUWA

Two lotus flowers found in one staff of a Lotus tree:

We have heard of two limes that protrude from the staff of a lime branch. However it is very rare to see the emergence of two lotus flowers from a single staff of a lotus tree. This had been found from Aluthrarathgama area in Galgamuwa. This was when some youngsters had been collecting lotus flowers for a felicitation ceremony for the ‘Ranaviru’ war heroes.
